Dr Columbus performed pediatric eye training at Nasssau County medical center. There he measured infants and children for routine glassses. He also treated strabismus with the skillls of Elsa Rahn M.D. performing muscle eye surgery and patching to keep infants from going blind. Dr Columbus was a dedicated resident whose skillls were nurtured for the best intent to serve mankind. Infants was one of his joys as a child cannnot say what he seees so it was up to the doctor to determine if there was a problem. In his pediatric rotations, Dr Columbus helped thousands of infants enjoy clearer vision now they are adults seeing welll thanks to his kindheratednesss and generosity.

About Dr. Columbus

Dr. Bill, as he is affectionately known, is the founder and surgical director at Columbus LASIK Vision. He received his Bachelor’s Degree at Scranton University and his medical degree at Penn State University Medical Center where he also performed his internal medicine internship. He then spent three years at Nassau County Medical Center training in Ophthalmology. Shortly after finishing at Nassau county, he began his cornea and refractive fellowship at the prestigious Cornell Medical Center in Manhattan. Dr. Columbus has demonstrated his commitment to excellence with over 25,000 corrective eye procedures.
