Columbus Lasik Vision proudly supports the local Firefighting community by offering special Lasik services to members and their families at $749/eye. We have provided this benefit previously to members of the iaff local 22 … ppfa … and other local organizations thru out Pennsylvania.

Members of the firefighting community throughout the North-eastern Pennsylvania region place themselves at risk every day. Lasik and PRK can make the lives of these selfless public servants and professionals safer in many ways. Being exposed to extreme environmental conditions where contacts or glasses are just plain impossible to wear … Lasik and PRK can keep these dedicated public servants safe through clearer vision and improved or greater peripheral vision.

At Columbus Lasik Vison we understand the occupational hazards a firefighter may encounter and the benefit that Lasik provides being able to see perfectly without glasses or contacts through cumbersome but necessary gear like face shields or oxygen masks. Not having to worry about safety glasses or spectacles that become foggy under extreme situations, these are some of the scenarios firefighters face where Lasik or PRK can improve safety and performance.
